Mercado is a modern Mexican restaurant located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville. It combines bold coastal Mexican flavors, a raw bar, wood-fired meats, and a rooftop bar experience, while paying homage to the Tex-Mex roots of its sister restaurant, Butchertown Hall.

  • Monday – Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • Friday & Saturday (Dinner): 4:00 p.m. – 10:00

  • Saturday (Lunch / Day): 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • Sunday: Closed (or call for special hours)

4. Is there parking available?

There is a public garage just past our restaurant at 715 Hagan St. Guests often use public or street parking in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood nearby. If you park in the garage on site, please let us know, and we will provide you with a discount to cover the cost of parking.

Mercado features a blend of coastal Mexican + wood-fired fare. Some highlights:

  • Raw bar with fresh East & West Coast oysters, ceviches & aguachiles

  • Wood-fired steaks, pollo al carbón, and smoked meats (inspired by Butchertown Hall)

  • Baja-style fish and carne asada tacos and tropical cocktails

Yes — Mercado can host special events and private gatherings. You can throw parties / reserve special events”. We also promote upcoming events (e.g. rooftop experiences, themed nights)
